Stefan Marks is founder, owner and managing director of Marks & Maxin Vermögensberatungs- und -verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH based in Frankfurt (Main). He started his career in financial services with Commerzbank AG and set up his own financial services business in 1981. In 1994 he developed his client portfolio by offering wealth management to his clients and in 1998 the German financial authority officially certified Marks & Maxin Vermögensberatungs- und -verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH as a financial services institution. In addition, Stefan Marks is also managing director of the insurance broker firm Marks & Maxin Versicherungsmakler GmbH based in Frankfurt (Main) and in 1997 became the spokesperson of the lobbying group Fonds Select GdR.
